Real Inspiration: Sarah & Nelson

Marylanders Sarah and Nelson were married in Corolla, NC.  A beautiful backdrop for a beach wedding!  They used a gorgeous (and huge) rental property called Station One House

Sarah is wearing earrings by Alexandra Webb (me)!  I used stick pearls, coin pearls and dyed (a beautiful orange) potato pearls to create these dramatic chandeliers.  The metal is 14k gold fill.  Gold fill is 100 times thicker than gold plating and will not wear off for many years and will not cause a nickel allergy.  Its also a lot more economical than solid gold.

Sarah's beautiful make-up was done by Lauren Owens.

The bride's dress came from Betsy Robinson Bridal.  It is a Alvina Valenta Bridesmaid Gown.  She then used a tailor to change the sash to her desired coral/orange color.  How unique!  Be sure to check out the back of her gown in some of the later photos.

The couple's photographer, Chris Bickford, caught some amazing shots of this beautiful wedding!

Sarah did not shy away from color!  The coral aisle marker and the bride's flowers came from Flowers by Blooms Design Studio.  Owner Renee Landry did an amazing job keeping the unique colorful look of this wedding with a beach theme.

The mother of the bride wore a coral dress from Columbia Bridal Boutique.

Love the picture frame portraits!

This is by far my favorite shot.  An amazing picture of the couple on a pier at sunset.  Beautiful!

Congratulations Sarah & Nelson!
