Photo Booth Save-the-dates & Invitations

Love this idea!  Plus its DIY!  Get to a photo booth (FYI, there is one in the AVAM) or "make your own."  Just find a back drop and a camera with a timer or better yet, enlist a friend to snap the photos.  You'll need some signs, either make your own or you can buy some adorable ones on etsy.com.  Get creative- hand drawn signs, cut out letters or printed out words can work beautifully!  Want some more ideas?  Check out my post on photo props.  Finally, scan your photos to create post cards or invitations.

Check out this couple's creative and hilarious wedding invitation:

Etsy Finds: A Cut Above

As always, perusing etsy.com for the latest handmade goodness...  I came across some very talented designers who make die cut and laser cut wedding invitations.  It's all in the details!  Think outside the box and consider invitations cut into shapes or packaged in intricately cut envelopes.  Here are several of my favorites:

Chelle Paperie Online!

One of my favorite vendors, Chelle Paperie,  just opened an online shop with several of their designs.  Although most of what they do is custom for their clients, they want to give those in a time-crunch the chance to have gorgeous invitations!

Also, be sure to check out their collection exclusive to Garnish Boutique.
