Bridesmaids Earrings - Custom Order

Ever wonder what I do when I'm not in the shop or posting to this blog?  Making jewelry, of course!  More specifically, when the spring rolls around I am usually working hard on many beautiful custom designs for brides and bridesmaids.  I decided to share one of the projects with you, my fabulous readers!

The project is 8 pairs of bridesmaids' earrings.  After searching for materials based on the desires of the bride, I came up with using fairly large aqua blue faceted teardrops.

All the materials were carefully wirewrapped to ensure all pieces are secure.

I topped the teardrops with lemon quartz and freshwater pearls.  I used 14k gold fill so these earrings will last a lifetime (and no one will have a scary allergic reaction during the wedding).  Almost all of my jewelry is made with either sterling silver or gold fill, which is 100 times thicker than gold plating.

And voila!  Beautiful!  I am also making a matching necklace for the flower girl.  Photos to come!
